A Few Words About Us
A little insight into the director ?
Michael T. McCubbin, a born musician, never really considered ever living his life NOT in the music world. Shaped since the sound of that first guitar elementary school, and the Beatles rock and roll gene, Michael “heard the call” early and never looked back. By the time he reached the age of 18, he had recieved degrees in electronics and was actively working in the television industry. When you grow up with electronics in your life and dad has the bitchen tools, you learn to be resourceful. By age 28 he had recieved degrees in Recording and Audio Engineering as well as Sound Reinforsement at Sound Masters Institute of Audio engineering. While Michael T. McCubbin has gained a reputation as a “can do anything guy,” he has, in fact, a wide-ranging set of ears, and is equally mastering Christian rock, contemporary, Gospel, pop, hip hop, rap, jazz, and classical.
Following several years working live shows and mixing at studios in the Los Angeles area, Michael became the house engineer at Phun City Sound in 1979. Audio mastering as well as live recording, mixing, tracking, sequencing, and sweetening. He continues to develop new sounds and works closely with Primarily Christian artists in both Multi-track recording and Mastering Engineer where he works out of Studio B adding final touch with his favorite hand picked mastering equipment.
